Aslihan Sabanci started her career in 1998 in the healthcare division of Johnson & Johnson. She worked four years in various executive positions at the Ethicon and Ethicon Endo-Surgery divisions in New York, Cincinnati, New Jersey, and in Istanbul. In 2002, she joined Sedes Holding as a founding shareholder and presently serves as its Vice President and executive board member. She is also a founding shareholder and Board Member of Döysa Vip Aviation.
Ms. Sabanci holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a minor in Interdisciplinary Business from Texas A&M University along with Masters of Business Administration degrees from SDA Bocconi University and Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. She completed further programs and degrees from Cornell University in Financial Management (2004); Essentials of Hospitality Management (2006); Foodservice Management (2008); Hospitality Marketing (2008); and Plant Based Nutrition (2009).
Mrs. Sabanci is a well-recognized author of several books on Health and Well-being. In March 2012 one of Mrs. Sabanci´s books was rewarded with ‘’Best Nutrition Book in the World’’ distinction at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.
